Tim Warmels is the next Canadian bachelor to search for true love on the original romantic reality series The Bachelor Canada when Season 2 premieres this fall on City.
Born and raised in the small countryside town of Campbellville, ON, the 28-year-old entrepreneur is as handy with a horse as he is with a hockey stick. Having grown up working on ranches and farms, Tim is a down-to-earth, all-Canadian guy who isn’t afraid to work hard and get his hands dirty. A natural athlete, Tim also enjoys sports such as hockey, sailing, and scuba diving.
A highly motivated student with a keen mind, Tim was accepted into Canada’s top business program – the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. After graduating with honours, he moved to Toronto and proved himself as an investment banker on Bay Street. Tim is now a successful entrepreneur with a number of tech ventures and his own boutique contracting business.
He comes from a close-knit family with an older brother and two loving parents – his mom is a school teacher and his dad is a businessman – who have been married for over 30 years and have taught him what unconditional love truly means.
After years of working to establish his professional life, Tim is now ready to shift the focus back to his personal life. He has had two serious relationships, with the longest lasting just over two years. His most recent relationship ended because he ultimately knew that she just wasn’t the one he was meant to be with.
A thrill-seeker at heart, Tim is now looking ahead to his biggest adventure yet on The Bachelor Canada. He is searching for a woman who is happy in her own skin, driven, ambitious, and wants just as much out of life as he does – someone he can call his best friend.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys writing, travelling (he is fluent in Spanish), modelling, building custom furniture, and completing renovations on his own home. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and still loves to ride horses whenever he can.
