Going for the auditions and applying for the show was epic. The excitement and laughs I had with my girlfriends while filling out the application was definitely unforgettable.
I’m a strong, independent, beautiful woman who was single and had an opportunity to meet a fabulous guy. I have the spunk and character – so let’s be real here, it’s time I shine and introduce myself to the world!
The moment I stepped into the hotel, the feeling was indescribable. I had my application in hand, my best friend at my side for support, my high heels on, and I strutted through the lobby knowing that at that specific moment, my life was about to change forever.
While waiting at the auditions, I entertained myself, my friend, and everybody else in the auditorium with my crazy shenanigans. Not like the other ladies auditioning had an option LOL. I had chicks asking if they could come over and just hang out with us. I also over heard a woman say, “If that chick doesn’t make it, I don’t know who will.” Well, that right there ladies and gentlemen was the icing on the cake.
It couldn’t have been a more perfect day when I got the call back. Turns out it was The Bachelor Canada calling me. I chatted for bit trying desperately to maintain my cool, when in all honesty, I just wanted to get up and do an Irish jig. I hung up and my friends and I started to scream and jump around like a bunch of teenage girls who just got asked to the prom by the high school hunk.
We celebrated with some Sicilian kisses and spent the night talking about my endless opportunities and the adventure I was about to experience.
