My mother applied for me online and the producers called me a couple days later. I walked right into the auditions and it was busy with women, all different types. Everyone deserves love!
When I found out I would be on the show, my first thought was, “gowns!” I had a short amount of time to get everything I needed. My friends and family put their wardrobes together and helped me get organized (and it helped that I have a ton of clothes myself.) I got some beautiful gowns that could have filled more than two suitcases!
Getting to Victoria was an easy one from Vancouver and I took the ferry. The only difficult part was carrying all the bags. The really hard part was saying goodbye to my beautiful daughter and not knowing how long I would be gone for. Before this I have never left her for longer than a week.
Arriving at my hotel, I was very excited and enjoyed not knowing what was to happen next. Taking some alone time before meeting the bachelor was a good stress reliever, and I have to say I enjoyed the “just me” time!
